BaseGame&TModloader
I was wondering why the sets of mods are so different between the two programs? Youll see like the Calamity Music Pack but no Calamity Mod itself. Another mod I was looking forward to using was a Lighting Mod thats only available in TModloader. Is there something Im missing ?

the steam workshop as it says on the header is for texture, language, and music packs. you can change sprites, alter text and replace music but terraria has no modding tools for writing and implementing code. TmodLoader is first and foremost a modding API created and ran by the community, while the Terraria steam workshop is a one stop, one click shop to download funny texture packs made by fans with a little bit of free time.
