How do you import workshop maps into hammer (Help)

I'm new to mapping in source 2 and I need help importing workshop maps into hammer.

You cannot import maps from other creators into Hammer (unless you have the Vmap file). If you want to view the original maps from Alyx in Hammer, that would work.

If you want to import maps from the old engine into source 2, you can find video(s) on Youtube. It is not quite clear to me what exactly you want to do
