template for livery for standard cars
Hello all those who like to tinker under the hood.
I have a question about liveries.
modded cars often have a livery template file .png
how to get such a file for a standard car?

in the folder: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars\
There is not

help who knows how to get them

If you want to add a livery to a car that doesn't normally have it, as you will notice, in DLC cars, for example, they have a folder called "Liveries" and the liveries are there, so all you need to do is create a folder with the same name there and put the painting there and it should work.

yes, I understand that, the question is where to get the body mesh template so that I know where the hood is and where the fender or body door is

I'm not liveries expert but I think you can use rustmap (they are found under RustMaps folder) as a template. At least it should help.
