Anything Canadian

Is it at all possible to add in anything Canadian?

Not just a Canadian flag, but changing the vessel to a surface vessel. A Corvette, Destroyer, or whichever else is possible. Basically, similar to how Silent Hunter 3 had a 'Surface Warship mod', how possible would it be for this game to have such?

Been a long while since I played this game so I'm behind on everything. I'll probably have to play later in the week.

Would the game engine allow for anything Surface Vessel related to be a thing? Disable all the crew stuff, yet keep as a basic combat element. If it is possible it would be neat seeing HMCS Haida, HMCS Skeena, HMCS Sackville, HMCS Uganda/Quebec, HMCS Ontario (Light cruiser) by keeping the submarine topside at all times with a surface warship model.

I'm aware of this, and I probably might have to settle with this.

I'm simply hoping more could be done by turning the submarine into a surface warship vessel, as had been done with Silent Hunter 3's 'Surface Warship mod'. I sadly couldn't get a hold of that mod, hence why I'm requesting it's possibility here.

What you ask for is not possible currently. Approximately one year just to change the model of the ship, then all the code and misc. changes. It's bordering on a totally new games. Its not feasible to do for a modder.

Take a look at Destroyer game in Steam. It is very good, and finished.

Canada sailed under the White Ensign, not the Maple Leaf (I think it was adopted in '63)

Should be fine to have some patriotic pride with Canada, even if it's a modern flag. Anything is better than nothing, and I've seen tons of people being anti-Canadian just because.
