Any mods that help with getting high-tier gear, but not as OP as upgrade station?

Don't get me wrong, Upgrade Station's a great mod and one of my faves. I HATE gambling mechanics and I think the vanilla method of getting higher-tier saddles and gear is garbage. But the downside to Upgrade Station is that it's a liiiittle OP.

Anyone know of mods that make it easier to get upgraded saddles and gear, but not quite as easily as Upgrade Station? I haven't found anything on the workshop, but thought I'd throw the question out there. Thanks!

You could try uber looter, but thats only if your playing in a server environment as it doesn't like single player, or you could try my PIU (pick it up) mod an do some fishing as almost everything can be caught.
