S+ item collector

Hi guys.
I want to use the S+ item collector to farm up some crops and cementing paste. The problem is, you can’t get propellant on the island without cheating or transferring (to my knowledge). I haven’t defeated any of the bosses yet and I don’t want to deal with the transfer stuff. So, is there any possible way to get the S+ item collector to work without the fuel or will I have to use a different mod?

i have rules but i cheat

since you dont wanna travel nor do bosses, and you have s+ installed, why not check the grinder?!

Unlock it in tech tree then make it in grinder. I was surprised was there as well. I expected chem station... But ya its in grinder.

Nothing wrong with cheating and giving your self rules to follow. Now when get a cheat on purpose that breaks your rules... then thats bit silly I agree. But getting S+ then say make rule of no flyers is fine and makes sense. Cheating and balancing it your self works. Though offhand it seems silly to cheat and restrict your game.

Excerpt from the fandom page about this collector:
-Can use Tek Generator or Propellant for fuel (will automatically use fuel if no power is available)
FUEL is an option. So fire up your forge and get cracking.
Gasoline = FUEL
