I am having similar issues as well, All I noticed is you have to find the mod doing it, I still have issues but when I purged some mods, the amount of Skips drastically reduced but still happens.

I believe the cause to be a issue with modded cards and vfx. because it will happen with some cards only but there have been times it would just skip some cards and just do the few and not show the rest of the turn.
