Agreed, but i think custom maps will be coming soon.

If I remember right there is going to be a way for players to make small, not too complex game modes using a coding program (Kismet?), but so far there's not been any specific release dates for it.

there only 2 game modes and they are ....
you cant play dinosaurs in the survival and the lobbys are unplayable with the community
atm the game is only a simulation to show dinosaurs and nothing more in my view
i expected a game to play dinosaurs and not again a 0815 shooter

Kismet is part of the engine, if you have the SDK you can use Kismet to create stuff.
