Mods work perfectly all the Time !
I used about 40 mods in one play-though :
PERFECT !
Of course, it works ONLY if those mods are used for their respective Game version ...
Which is toddler level of easy since the workshop has the choice of game version / mods to have the perfect match ...
Toddler level ...
So if I interpret what you're saying Correctly, Butterlib is obsolete until we can get an update from it? That is if you're using MODs that require Harmony? Is that where most people have been running into problems with the most recent update and MODs? I've been having these problems as well and have just went back to playing Vanilla.
Also, you should be using a mod manager to install and uninstall mods. I use Nexus Mod Manager Community Edition, though Vortex is probably also okay.
So, for instance, when the game changed from version 1.2.7 to 1.2..8, I just used NMM to uninstall the old versions and install the new ones.
What you say "often" works but I always install mods without any mod manager. It works fine as long as you read everything about the mod, before installing. (read the comments for the mod too)
Some Mods work and some don't
Bannerlord updates will break mods
Bannerlord updates will break your mods
Butterlord updates will troll your mods
That said sometimes Bannerlord updates don't break.
Mods only work for a specific version of Bannerlord
Some mods do not play well with each other
That said, mods may depend on other mods to work, such as Mod XYZ are dependent on Harmony but ABC requires harmony AND MCM
Mod order determines if Bannerlord crashes or not
Nexus Mods currency / updates > Steam Workshop Mods currency / updates
Vortex or Mod organizing programs / apps < /vvindows explorer/steamapps/bannerlord/mods
The more mods you use, the chances of Bannerlord crashing go up exponentially
Any mod with Ivan Drago will break you.
The more specific instructions in install and usage in game a mod has, brings a higher chance of illiteracy
The more expansive / game changing a mod is, the easier it will break with obscure actions such as selling bent throwing knives (but normal ones work)
The more a game changer a mod is, the easier an update will break it, and higher chances the dev behind that mod will stop supporting it a year or two into it
Warband has multiple meanings in Bannerlord
Google is your friend when it comes to Floris, Napoleon, and Pendor.
If "Bannerlord" is being overly used, you may substitute Butterlord in place of.
Long answer: Noooooooooooo.
The "great 4" have multiple versions on Nexus for respective game versions.
Those 4 primary mods are worked non stop to be updated by dedicated players.
?! ?! ?!
All; mods work as intended !
ALL of them !
Emphasis on:
"Work as Intended" !
Stressing on game version, load order, compatibility, etc
Examples:
Harmony
Almost 700.000 subscriptions

(with the "great 4" together: 2.5 million subscriptions ! ! !)
Fourberie
about 84.000 subs

CA_EagleRising
90.000 subbs

The Old Realms
61.000 players

etc !
Steam Workshop, Nexus maybe 5 million mod subscriptions all together, in all possible combinations.
