all npcs gone from my game

I have only 12 mods and all my npcs are gone I can not figure out what is causing this. every city and dungeon is just abandoned.

I'm having a similar issue, although instead my NPCs are vanishing whenever I try to interact with them.

the way i fixed it was to wipe out all my mods and just pick new ones. not the best solution but i had only just started so there wasnt much loss

Thanks for the swift response! I done a bit of digging into the log files and it says this, so I'm guessing it has something to do with a faulty mod.

"[06:19:21.641] [Error] Exception while invoking lua function 'update'.
