Some mods work for clients even if the host doesn't have it, while some mods have host only features that don't require clients to have the mod. Most mods produce at most purely visual issues if both the client and host dont match mods, while a small number of mods crash a burn spectacularly.
2 ways to sync mods easily.
1. Create your own workshop collection and add all subscribed mods to it OR
2. Have clients use a KitchenLib option to sync mods in-game. The mods are automatically subscribed to. Then all they have to do is restart their game to load the newly subscribed mods.
