Help with Expansion mod

I've tried to enable and disable every single setting that would prevent me from building wherever I want, alas I can't even craft the flag pole with 1 stick and 3 rope. any tips?

You need 3 Sticks, and ONE rope .. If that does not work, you need to contact the Expansion Team on their Discord server, they do not read these forums or even have comments enabled on their workshop page.
