S+ Hitchpost
Since the non-server code with going into Stasis and waking up isn't working, and my Achatina's are dying with 61 cakes left in the through (something like 4 out of 6 tames adults in the specific 61 cake example). I am trying out the S+ Hitchpost.

The Maewing can feed Achatina babies, so I am - or was - trying out to breed 4 of them.

I hitched the Maewing and 3 Achatina, left the 4th Achatina unhitched on purpose, to see if it was enough to hitch the Maewing. Left the base to let it go into Stasis.

Returned a couple days later. 4th Achatina starved to death instantly, so need to hitch the Achatinas too. The 3 other Achatina's were fine. Imprinted the kid Achatinas, refilled Maewing to ? and Trough to 300 cakes and left again.

Came back, and the 3 Achatinas starved to death. 75 cakes left in Maewing, 272 cakes in the Trougth, which seems to indicate the kid Achatina's died early on. I discover the Maewing has become unhitched. The 12 adult Achatina I have hitched to 6 other hitchposts in the base (total 8 posts in base, 1 unused, 1 unused meant to have the Maewing and kids and 6 with 1-3 adult Achatinas each), all still appear hitched.

Does anyone know what can have caused the Maewing (and appearently the 3 kids) to have become unhitched (other than player error hitting it on the way out by accident)?

*EDIT* Fixed missing end of sentence where I was tabbing out to count snails and posts.

"Non-server code"? What do you mean by this?
i assume you meant to say "Non-dedicated server"?

Which code do you refer to?

Non-dedicated servers do not use stasis, they use hibernation, a similar but different mechanic.
The best you can do with these automation structures is to disable hibernation completely. Bearing in mind additional system resources used as a result.

By non-server code, I mean that it is not server behavior. A server by definition is always on and ready to serve clients. Bringing it into stasis could work if transparent, but it is not transparent since it has errors, like the Achatina dying (guessing its because they didn't take reuse time of cakes into account in the wake up code), there are also other errors fx with the water system. As far as resources go, bases not going into stasis, would actualyl in many cases use less resources, since it takes a lot of resources to store and then reload 2 minutes later when players enter again.

It is a dedicated server, the question is not about the server - the question is why the dinos went unhitched.
