At the moment with the scenario you can create 'fairly' complex missions. String them together into a "mini campaign". I have 5 scenarios I made that play in order with a little "story" behind them. Barely a campaign, more just like a 7 day battle. They'll be uploaded to the workshop soon.

The ability to have multiple spawn points for troops would make it 10x more complex and allow for much more complicated/indepth scenarios/missions.
