Map modding
Hiya,

0 modding knowledge other than changing unit pips, national ideas and monuments to be overpowered as heck.

Have had the idea of making a map, either based on tilepoh8 or tilepoh35 from the random new world maps. The general shape of them, I know that tilepoh35 is an entire continent, I just want a landmass that I could place in something like Europe, Asia, Africa or North America. Not sure yet were.

What would be a good way to get started with map modding? Is there a template somewhere? Possibly with a template for a nation?

Try adding a few provinces first and use the wiki.


The template is in the game itself. Always copy and paste when you have the chance.

It makes adding provinces to eu4 3 times faster it's kinda clunky but good in a long term.
