Steam Workshop uploads are broken for me
I'm having a really weird problem with the Steam Workshop. I can no longer upload mods to it. When I go to the mod upload screen in-game and click the publish button, the game freezes, and a blank, 0 kb mod appears on my workshop. If I look at the files of the mod I'm trying to post, the ID for the workshop item *is* added, but the data transfer is busted or something. I can still upload new versions of the mods I've already made public, which is the strangest part.

Is anyone else having this problem? It's frustrating.

So this happens if you don't have a preview.png for the steamworkshop page defined in the mod's root folder, pick an image and name it preview with the subclass PNG, put it in the root folder, with the 'graphics' and 'objects' folders and info.txt and it should upload correctly

YES! That's the fix! Why is that not in *any* documentation?

In the past, you *could* upload mods without preview images, so it never occurred to me that that might have been the issue...

You can also run into problems if the folder that your mod is in has a goofy name that has numbers or special characters in it
