How do you make maps that have stuff out of mapmaker?
I played some other people rooms and they have like teleporters, save points, worldmap with grass ect ect, none of this stuff is at the mapmaker that comes with the game.

BeeMod (aka Bee2) software gives the ability to add a large number of additional objects. It allows you to add and remove objects from the in-game palette, then you can export your new palette into the game.

For the worldmap stuff, and a far more customizable map, you need to go into the Hammer editor. It is part of the Portal 2 Authoring Tools package. If you own Portal 2, then you also own the Authoring Tools. It has to be installed separately, and the Hammer editor has a fairly steep learning curve.
