I would like to find a text cracker (at least), but alas, it is not there, maybe someone will take it up, some kind of studio or amateurs. If someday a crack appears, throw it here, or mention it that someone somewhere is doing a translation / voice acting of the game. Thank you.
If anyone could translate the localisation int txt files it would be 4KANT
as for voices a new upk file could be made and a modded version of shadow with new voices and a new voice controller would translate the wang's voice (only that the mod creator would need to speak in the desired language
that's even if changing the language of the int files doesn't crash the game
in theory it could work
txt cracker lol try Notepad or Notepad ++
if it works it could be posted on the steam workshop with the correct config as a language translation mod side loaded into the game with a similar setup to the office mods on the workshop with a hidden backup of the original shadow warrior that isn't visible in the start work list as a playable level but play the modded version instead
you be sailing uncharted waters with a language translation mod
only way to find out is to try n make it=you really need to know what ya doing with UE3/UDK3 tho its not as easy as reading BlackEagle's Level Creation Guide
wing it n find out as translating the int files should be easy without the level editor vs windows notepad=
that's if changing the language from English to another language doesn't crash the game
doing a voice translation will require using the level editor
i changed a mahjong game from Chinese to English and it translated the main menu and just over half the in-game txt and i could still win a game without being able to read the tiles or understand what the games opponents were saying
if it works in VCD
no idea
only way to find out is try:)
