[DE] "Limit exceeded" Error beim Versuch Workshop hochzuladen
Moin,

Ich habe den oben-genannten Fehler beim Versuch einen Workshop hochzuladen.
Leider kann ich keinen Fehler in der Log-Datei sehen.

Letzendlich erstellt er einen Workshop der leer ist. (Keine Bilder, 0.00kB groß usw.)

I don't see an error in your logfile, but I had the same problem with "Limit exceeded".
In my case it was the preview image that caused the issue. Didn't matter which image I tried to add.

To fix it, you can remove the following line in your .vdf file:

"previewfile" "X:\\Users\\Username\\Desktop\\Bilder\\2015-08-25_00001.jpg"

It won't have a preview image in the Workshop, but at least it uploads the mod succesfully. Once it's uploaded, go to the mod in the workshop and from there you can add a screenshot.

Hope this helps and we will have to wait for the devs to fix this somehow.

But that can't be the solution. There has to be a way to get Preview Image.

I know, I just don't know the solution and if this works, I will be uploading it without an preview image.

From my experience I can say that the "Limit exceeded" message often appears when you try to update an existing preview image. That's why you should remove the "previewfile" line when you update an existing mod.

...but the initial upload should include a preview image of course. Here you have to make sure that the file size isn't too big (below 1 MB should work).

The Picture was Full-HD-Res and have a size of 686kB... wasn't workin'.

ive tested it with 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024,1024 and all not working. this is not planned to be happen but the question is at which side the bug appears. steamcmd, bus sim....
