Predatory alien vision?
even if the only addon I turn on is uke's alien vision, my alien vision defaults to this black thing, is this on purpose or by accident?

Perhaps you are on a server with NS+, which might override mods for alien vision.
NS+ has a lot of options for setting your alien vision!
