How do I save when using a mod?
Using the save state feature when playing with a mod does absolutely nothing! Is there any alternative means I can use to save, e.g. something in the game files or on my computer? (The mod itself doesn't appear to have a save function, yet recommends that I "save often".)

Sega Mega Drive and Genesis Classics seems to crash quite a lot for me, and I worry about losing my progress from the last hour and a half or so.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-)

Aaaaand it's gone and crashed again. There's a surprise.

Is there at least a way to undo the crash? The game still sounds just fine, but my picture's completely frozen.

Ah, it seems that the "quick save" and "quick load" functions still work inside of the mod. I just checked, and it's still there upon rebooting Sega Mega Drive and Genesis Classics, and loading the mod again. Result!

Unfortunately, I'll still have to replay the first two acts, since my game froze before I discovered this. But it won't feel futile when I now know that I can save once I do!

As far as I know, you cannot use save state while using mods but I think if the game that it's mounted on originally had a save battery it will automatically save.
