And (which I haven't tested in the latest version ... because the game is still too unstable to be played for prolonged times ... and has no autosave ... so it screws you every time it crashes) you end up with tons of seeds while growing potatos.
In fact I had so much back then, that I had big piles of 'em on the ground (better than putting 4 of 'em in huge boxes ... I have to print first ... and that was before I need ressources to print ♥♥♥♥)
Again the OP was from 13th Feb and soo much has changed ... except that you still have to litter your ♥♥♥♥♥ you do't need ... for one reason or the other ... into the landscape ... instead of recyling them and getting some ressources.
(Which also reminds me: Back then even power and the related cable spool wasn't a thing ... cable spools are now trash you can't get around. Needing a dozen or so solar pannels as minimum requirement for your power needs in your base = at least a dozen cables to the grid. Then the grid to the machines and base ... = a big pile of empty cable spools ... well I guess you can hide them under your potato seeds you also have a fLIckton of)
destroyable potatoseeds! you can now destroy your potatoseeds lagless.
as for the cable spools, i agree, they can be annoying, but i usually keep one empty cable spool around, for when i print out a new one i can jsut put 2 cables of the new cable spool onto the empty one to be able to jsut carry them around. the empty spools i don't need are dumped in a crater like the rest of the things i don't need (waste material, broken vehicles and misprints)
recycling can be achieved by using some mods, or you wait for future updates.
But now it is in Workshop > Take On Mars > All Discussions ...
The heck?
@gabgab01 Obviously that was meant as a suggestion to the developers to add this in and not forget about it.
Your link is seriously borked.

Well would be fine ... but my point was it should be part of base (/vanilla) game ... also not using mods on a game that currently runs in single digit FPS and (in worst case) crashes every 5 minutes. ... And no it is not my computer a GTX 970, 16GB should be enough ... and no core of my CPU runs with more than 70% load.
I was referring to the mod being a delete tool besides the fact it's titled 'Recycle Tool'. My game doesn't have FPS issues or crashes and since I don't know what your system is or running I couldn't really speak for it.
My rig: http://pastebin.com/qBSt5yCy
And some overclock info: http://pastebin.com/c5eEcfbv
And my base ... the entrance allone has ~20 parts ... I hope once it is airtight the issues will go away.
I do understand tnat my CPU isn't particular new anymore ... but I don't see why I have issues before even one core has gotten maxed out.
