How to mod text files ?
I recently bought this game and I'm really enjoying it, even if I'm not really into football.
I was also really surprised to see that the french translation is rather good, compared to what I can see in other games (like XCOM 2 or Darkest Dungeon - I would not even call it a translation for the last one).

But I still think it can be (slightly) better, so I tried to find files to edit to make a Better Translation Mod. The problem is that the files in data/text.fr are .w000, and I don't know what it is or how to edit them (I'm using Notepad++). Any hints ?
(also, I'm new to the Steam Workshop, is there anything I should be aware of if I want to upload my mod ?)

the game is translated by one of our active players @Eyolfur. You can suggest any improvements (if there is really sense to make them) there: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/375530/discussions/0/618463738397972777/

We want Football Tactics was modding friendly. But changing texts doesn't sound as a good idea at the moment.

Regarding Steam Workshop - everything is very easy. We provide in-game interface for uploading your mod. Other mod management (uploading screenshots, commenting etc) is easily done through Steam client or browser
