Modding goes as far as your motivation.
And I really hope some people are thoroughly motivatied because these seem to be pretty worth it in fucntionality. Could this vehicle be reverse engineered in some way or another?
Of course. The hardest part of .lua is learning how to read and rewrite different in-game values (And bug testing). It's all a series of if-and statements at the core and if you can understand the language of it you'll be able to figure out how other's scripts work with time.
