Glitch in my map - please help.
I don't know what to call this phenomenon, but please watch this short video and tell me, if you can, what is going on here, and what can I do to fix it?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXjgItuX074

I have an aerial faith plate in the map. It was fine for many test runs, then I changed something and it started glitching as shown in the video. It works as expected and launches the player to the targeted destination, but the graphics are flaking out.

I tried undoing several changes, but the behavior continued. I tried deleting the faith plate and re-adding it, to no avail. I tried moving it to another voxel - no help. I tried publishing the map privately to see if the full build that's created when publishing might be the remedy, yet it persists. I'm stumped. The map is otherwise ready to publish, but I don't want to publish it like this.

It is built using the in-game editor and BEEMOD 2.4.44.1

Any help would be appreciated.

Check your cube maps are set for the props in your maps, and run cube map function from the console after your compile is done. It should have been automatic in the build-in editor. Check your map setting preferences as well.

While I appreciate the reply, it lost me entirely. I don't know how to do the things you've mentioned. In the in-game editor, I simply press Rebuild (F9), and it builds the chamber and takes me into the game in play mode. I do not use the Hammer Editor.

Try running the cube maps commands below from the console. Start your game and map; pause game, then hit the tilde key to access the console. Paste the two command sets; one, enter; then the other; enter.

sv_cheats 1; mat_hdr_level 0; mat_specular 0; buildcubemaps; disconnect; quit

sv_cheats; mat_hdr_level 2; mat_specular 0; buildcubemaps; disconnect; quit

Relaunch the game. You may have to relaunch after each command set is executed. Hopefully you'll get your model reflections back (that seems to be the problem).

Thanks for the reply, @Sector 5, but there is no other object in that voxel, only the faith plate.
