Why do vehicles keep disapearing?!

I thought this issue was related to the map/world that I was in but when I made a new one I keep having the same issue. Someone please help me!

do they have a "keep active" block in them?

no, they despawn right next to me right after its spawned. I am still able to interact with them but cant bring it to workbench
