Custom regions set as 'story' or 'optional'?
I made a post on the main forum, going at lengths to forewarn everyone that 'Wanderer' & 'Pilgrim' passages can't be unlocked with custom regions enabled, These passages are not just more time-consuming, but buggy to the point of being IMPOSSIBLE to complete. Which isn't so bad in story campaigns, but it makes expeditions featuring those passages result in automatic
'soft-locked' failures.

My question though, is about something that I noticed on the
Rain World Mods wiki page on Passage[rainworldmods.miraheze.org], specifically:

'Regions can be configured to be either a "Story" region or "Optional" region depending on the character. This can effect how certain passage function both with custom Passages and the Vanilla passages'

So does that mean it is possible to keep custom regions enabled for expeditions, but disable their affect on the 'find regions' & 'find echoes' passages? I have not noticed any sort of setting to do this, so I'm curious if anyone here knows what it means.

I'm not an expert modder but if you do find a way to make it an "optional" region then that should do the trick. However, if you make it a "story" region, it'll contribute to the wanderer and pilgrim passages, as far as I'm concerned. If I find out anymore information regarding this I'll make sure to send it!
