I have the mod activated though.

Like, the mods in my save.

If you've added the mod to a save, and started the game and loaded that save, the files should have been created, in:
C:\Users\<your windows username>\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\76561198214981175\<name of save>\Storage\2667547195.sbm_BiggerExplosions

Then consult the mod creator. It works fine for me, so either you're making an error somewhere or there's a problem with your system. Did you install the dependency mod? -

Then you have a problem with this specific mod not working as intended for some reason. If you can't fix it by exiting the game, restarting the game, and loading the save with the mods present, you could look at the game log file SpaceEngineers.log in %appdata%\SpaceEngineers for any clues, otherwise try to ask the mod creator.

No, that is simply referencing the planet data file, its a normal log entry
