I was attempting to make a portrait mod, and the portraits I replaced show up fine in the mod creator portrait viewer, but in game they appear as white boxes. Any ideas what might cause this?

I've now found that my images work fine if I insert them into someone else's mod on the workshop, but still not sure what's going on with my own end of things.
