Most mods use diplomacy. Set economic and behavior changes to high.
There's a mod called 'brainybot' that changes how the AI behaves in combat on an individual level. Unlike most mods, it's not a module but something you extract into and merge with other modules. https://www.moddb.com/mods/doghotels-brainy-bots
There are mods for formation level AI behavior but imo they're worse than vanilla AI. These may or may nor be part of other mods and you often have the option of disabling them.
A module with diplomacy + Battle formations + Pbod, I dont know sry! but must exist for sure, search here in steam workshop, Nexus mods and Moddb or maybe someone else here in comments will help you with that, goodluck
