Yes I know this is a old game, Ive been playing it since 96 ish.I even have a couple maps I made. But heres the story, My old friend and I, have been playing again DM and co-op. about a month ago. alls great but this past couple weeks nothing but problems. even maps we just played 3 weeks ago will not work, either says map not downloaded yet orblack screen. odd we just played it. new maps on workshop never download? yes all our settings for steam and game are right we are not newbees. we can play any factory map but user maps are a hit and miss.we play 2 hours every night and spend half that time hoping things will work, 2 days ago we were lucky to play map desert complex from start to finish. great map. but next day even maps we played dont work. yes we restarted our pcs, and bla bla, but is there any help from the dead commmunity on why we cant live our past days of playing with this great megaton. Steam needs to download maps as soon as you subscribe, tried launching game, maps show on my list but allways says not downloaded yet, and again all my steam settings are open to download any time.. what gives, ya i know this is a old game but why do some maps work and all factory work???? more details upon any old timer who can help.
