Then grab yourself the last surviving version of the Hitler mod.

This is the sort of hypocrisy I don't understand. Mods of Hitler are deemed unacceptable, and yet Genghis Khan is in the main game?

I mean to be fair he might be a historic figure of recent history, he is not a great leader unlike the others. Under his command germany conquered a lot of land, burned through all it's resources and was nearly destroyed within 3 years. Meanwhile the Land Alexander and Ghengis conquered they actually got to keep during their reign and it did not destroy their nation in the process. Not to mention Hitler is Austrian and not german which would be a unique case out of all the world leaders that are actually born in their country that they ended up ruling.

Napoleon was born in Corsica while it was part of Italy, and hated the French when he was young.

Catherine the Great was a princess from the Kingdom of Prussia (Princess Sophia Augusta Frederica von Anhalt-Zerbst) and got into the Russian royal family by marrying Peter von Holstein-Gottorp, who ascended to the throne as Peter III after the death of Empress Elizabeth.

George Washington was born in the Virginia colony – the United States of America didn’t exist yet.

Dido was from the ruling family of Tyre (in present-day Lebanon), and founded the city-state Carthage (in present-day Tunisia) after falling out with her brother and fleeing Tyre.

That’s four examples just in the playable leaders in Civ V. Hitler isn’t in any way unique in that regard.

Can't mod Hitler into Civ V but can actually play as him in earlier games, dumb.

I'm afraid it is no longer available in JFD's Civilizations... Something must have been gone wrong regarding @JFD

The Hitler and Stalin mods still exist. If you intended to post this in the Civ 6 thread, then the Stalin mod also still exists but the Hitler mod recently got taken down for unknown reasons.

Last Dec 2023, it seems that the rumors are true.

I'll have @kensw be informed that Chrisy15 told us that the Hitler mod, for the reasons currently unknown, is completely gone from JFD's list of mods.

We need to find v11 somewhere, how is that even possible to absolutely delete it everywhere?
