Workshop mod upload

Hello, is there any way to upload a mod into workshop if I don't have the game on Steam? I have GOG version and the Mod tools still have button to upload to Workshop but it does nothing. I've hoped I could login and upload it anyway. I don't want to spend money just to upload my small mod on Steam. JA3 mods on Nexusmods looks kinda dead. I also use 3rd party apps to download and convert Workshop mods to my GOG version.

I'm sorry to tell you brother but no, you need to buy the steam version to be able to upload on steam, but apparently nobody can say it, don't bother getting through the legal process of the steam workshop because it won't do it, you need to buy the steam version.

Sad. If anybody wants to try or upload my little mods to Workshop then feel free. Only minor mods, not the best ones but some might find them useful.
