Modding Idea/Question: Bring items back to town.

I wanted to know if players could return to town after a successful adventure with all the cool gear they looted? Loose items after a loss but not after a win. Would make the game pretty interesting, yes it would be OP but it would be fun for arena and NG+ runs...

There's a huge issue I have with this and it's because it instantly starts snowballing. I'd be more interested in a way to bring more items back to town if I'd die in the dungeon to give me more items to surpass it on the next life but meh
