41 units cap is false

Using a guide found here on the workshop, i made some tests...and it's working flawlessly even setting it to 81 units in a single army! The 41 Cap described in that guide is clearly false.

Just captured Tanegashima fighting 60 units in a single army (extra units in garrison improvement mods are additive, so they' re stacking, for a sweet 10.000 men in total) and it was one the most glorious TW experience i' ever had in Single Player.

Just wanted to clarify this, as comments on that guide are disabled.

UP my second siege had problems. When mynunits started taking damage from arrows, tha game crashed. Tried at 81,61 and 41 units. Idk what's different from my first siege, where my 38 units fought over 60 defending units.

I will do more tests about this.

Sorry for slight necro but anyone know how high the naval cap can be set?

Takeda Shingen made a guide about it, i linked it. Using a save editor, you can increase the army/navy limit (by default 20 and 10)

Yes but how high can navy be? It's 30 max in napoleon (when editing with save editor)

The guide says 41 is the cap. Theoretically it's limitless, it depends on your specs. I suggest to not going over 41...otherwise some fights could make your campaign crash (not every battle, i think it depends on the map used...my sieges on the last castle level never crashed, the second one yes)

41 for navy as well?
