Very bad news:
I just found out that my Steam account was hacked and everything was wiped (again) and i can not get access to it for some strange reason. (I still try but no idea if i can have it back)
This sounds like a bad joke but just a few days ago when i tried to start Steam it behaved strangely and even froze sometimes like someone injected something.
Not sure who did that but it seems it must be someone that knows how to damage someone's account because he seemed to have wiped everything instead of just stealing the account.
I just changed passwords for everything else i recently used on an external device so no other things get deleted.

Also not sure how that person was able to even access my account because of the security mail you get with the code you have to enter.
Well, autologin makes things easy for hackers.

I recently tried a lot different AI programs and heard that certain addons can do weird things if not careful so not sure if one of those did that.
Maybe it was also because of old online games where the security is usually very low?
I can't really tell because i recently did a lot things and lost track what would have done that.

I remember weird things happening on my PC so i had to reinstall just a week ago (but it did not stop after first reinstall).


200% sure many will be upset because of that "again" but i can't do nothing about it and reuploading everything again on a new account is just annoying and a waste of time
since it takes days.

Because i knew that something weird was going on i did a backup of all the maps on the Internet Archieve to make sure these maps stay safe somewhere.

Just to hope the Internet Archieve doesn't delete this for some odd reason because this would be really bad.

Not sure if i still try to use my Steam account since it is annoying if i can get it back.
Just recently i was already playing with the idea to delete myself on Steam because 90% of the games that get released are just boring and having this account for this long time also annoyed me over the years because you can't feel free with it.
Most games and Steam's interface are boring now too.
But before, i would have given an information on every single workshop map that the maps are now on the Internet Archieve with the link and that the account on Steam self destructs in one month.
Now that everything is gone in just a few minutes without me being able to tell anyone on Steam what happened, this just sucks...
And making a new account is just annoying.

If someone has the time to upload all those maps again, anyone can do that if wanted because i lost my motivation completely now.
This is just annoying and i never thought something like this would have ever happened.

rustugc.exe should work if the game can install mods in linux as somebody got that working

They do not restore deleted items and the one who deletes it is responsible if it is intentional (i almost knew it).

The account loss itself does not really hurt because i mainly used it for VCD and most of the other games weren't so important (even if it was a lot money) and i must say i was a little bored sometimes of the games i owned.
What hurts the most is the workshop i had with it that got nuked again and I'm sure people will be annoyed again what makes this a little worse. (What is the main thing it makes it so annoying)
If i would not have had any workshop maps, it would make it much less annoying.

I try to be positive even if things like this happened because i often thought about deleting me on Steam a few months ago by myself but before i would have mentioned it on every workshop map so people know where they can still find the maps after. (Since it takes 30 days until an account gets deleted)

The workshop was mostly the only reason why i still had my account for so long.

I myself do not really plan on reuploading everything again to Steam because this annoys me..
Maybe someone has the motivation to do that but I'm sure this would take a lot of time.

besides the worshop could do with some Penguin Power cuz i have no idea how linux works xd as i only saw a proton post somewhere lost in the forum that the game works with steam achievements and workshop support on linux in proton:)
you are the 1st to upload a level using linux=great news for devs and the linux community as well as people who have a steam deck to play the windows version of VCD on linux devices=nice..

make sure ya put do not copy or reupload in the each maps description so everyone else does't reupload his maps in multiple copies of the same mods as only 1 creator per set of levels=keeps the workshop nice n tidy for everyone to sub to ones mods

do not sub to ya own maps cuz if ya unsub it deletes your own maps...
