Original vs M&B 2 - Far Less Mod Support
Anyone else notice there is far less community mods coming out for the second title? It feels like the amount of mod support we had from fire and sword... none really. Mount and Blade had a ton of full conversion. That one game became over 10 in my library. From different historical time periods to star wars, there were so many mods. I deleted M&B1 off my PC (with all the mods) in hope this second one would eventually replace the need for having both installed, but it seems like there is very little in the way of modders working on large scare conversions.

Is the mod scene dead? Should I not expect the kind of full game conversions we got in the original or is it just too early still in the games dev cycle?

There are total conversions but we don't have years and years of time with stable versions for their to be the same compared to 1.

Try something like The Old Realm (Warhammer fantasy) for an example of a total conversion mod

One it's a bigger game. Newer. Possibly a bit harder to convert. (although mod tools are out) There are several big modding discords about total conversions. (Sengoku Jidai, Total War,...) however it is a slow process. As far as i can tell a lot of the big mods don't seem located on the workshop (except for a few like Eagles Rising) possibly due to size or because a lot of mods are in Alpha.
