Service trucks GONE!!!
Service trucks gone.
Hi, I've always been a fan of mods, and I just got back into the game. I was pretty happy with the street layout of my recent city because despite growing by leaps and bounds, I did it so well that I haven't had any problems with congestion on any road, I even saw that my city had 80% traffic flow. The problem appeared when my city became so populated that I started to see that the services were insufficient, however, I made sure that the services were well distributed, and with the fluidity of my streets and roads it mattered little if the garbage processing plants were a little far away. When I went to see what was going on I noticed that garbage trucks, funeral cars, police, ambulances, etc. were between 0 and 1, and if I was lucky they were between 2 and 4, but most were at 0.
I searched a bit on the internet and in steam discussions but I didn't have the patience to notice if this problem had already been solved or if it even existed, on the internet I found a guy who had a mistake of his in the direction of his streets, and because of that the buildings couldn't find the way to get to certain places and so on. But since I had taken the trouble to make my street system correctly, without congestion and many fluidity facilities and also with space for future improvements, I highly doubted that that was the problem, despite that I set out to check each intersection to verify that everything was okay, I even came to think that they were too far away and I put more service buildings near the affected places, resulting in a building again with 0 service trucks or cars. I could afford to increase the tax collection on those services, and it didn't change anything.
Much to my regret, I decided to discard that city since if the mods had loaded incorrectly even if I identified the mod that was causing me problems in those mechanics, I knew that it would hardly be fixed in the city. I decided to see if some of the garbage processing mods I have were the answerable ones, the mods I had are one of the most popular in terms of number of subscribers, however, I saw in the comments that some of them didn't work or precisely had 0 or 1 truck working, and thinking that they were responsible I discarded them completely.
Obviously I had previously closed the game completely, I also have a mod that if I understood correctly, is in charge of verifying the mods and that they load in the correct order called "Skyve". I opened the whole game again, started another city and the same thing happens to me, I don't know how to fix it and I don't know if any mod I have can be held responsible for this, because most of my subscriptions are aesthetic, then in terms of quantity and perhaps the term "invasive" are mods for creating streets and railway systems.
I hope someone has some kind of similar experience that can guide me to a solution.
ps. I used a translator because the truth is I was lazy to think of such a long text and make it easy to understand.

First of; When you mention 'mods'. Do you mean actual mods, or assets?

If you have service buildings where the number of active vehicles flickers between 0 and 1, it means the newly spawned service vehicle cannot establish a path to its destination. If this is the case, then you should take another look at your road layout.

There are other reasons for vehicles not spawning though. You could've hit the games Vehicle and/or PathUnit limit for example.

If you use the 'Advanced Vehicles MOd', and you've used it to disable certain service vehicles, make sure you have alternatives from the Workshop.

Hi, aaammm... well yes i have a lot assets but mods too, like:
  • 81 Tiles
  • Adaptative Networks
  • Advanced Stop Selection
  • Electric Roads
  • Extra Train Station tracks
  • Harmony (obviously xdd)
  • Intersection Marking Tool
  • Lifecycle Rebalance
  • Metro Overhaul
  • Move It
  • Network Multitool
  • Patch Loader Mod
  • Realistic Population
  • RICO revisited
  • Skyve
  • TM:PE Stable
  • Unifed

Thinking that it could be mods like "Lifecycle" or "Realistic population" that could be modifying some statistics of the cars, I've tried to deactivate them and unsubscribe from them and run the game, but the same thing happens to me.
The number of vehicles is not intermittent, it is simply at 0 or 1, maybe two or three but with a lot of luck.
I did suppose that it could be some problem with the layout of my city, but I am sure that after checking it well, everything seemed to be in order, quite orderly I would say with pride, everything was quite fluid without traffic congestion or anything like that.

I even tried to put an incinerator (from an asset) near the area affected by the accumulation of garbage that I had at that time, and it was the same, at some point it had a truck, but only one. Although, having already identified the problem, and doing a variety of tests, I put the taxes in the garbage section to the maximum so that they would have more trucks, and the number of trucks didn't increase at all.

A few days ago I was checking the mods and assets I had subscribed to in the workshop, which one could be the one causing the conflict, and due to an error that I never figured out what it was, I unsubscribed from all of them. Angry, I deleted the game, just yesterday I downloaded it again, and I started to manually search for the mods (and assets) that interested me.
and the same thing is happening to me, I subscribed to Game Anarchy to test the education of the population and see if it changed anything regarding the problem, with the help of RICO, I put buildings with high concentrations of population so that my city would grow quickly and above all so that everything is close to each other. And for example my fire station never had trucks available.
The only thing left for me is to gradually eliminate mods, running a game to identify the mod that is causing the conflict.

Sounds like you haven't checked to see if you're hitting one of the game limits.

I suggest you subscribe to the 'Watch It!' mod, and use the 'limit counter' this mod provides to get details on that info. Again, hitting the 'Active Vehicles' limit or 'PathUnit' limit can cause the issues you're experiencing.

Hey, I downloaded the mod you recommended and took some screenshots but I can't put them here I think, however it seems that the clinics don't have vehicles, I also want to comment that I deactivated some of the many mods that I have, I don't really understand the mod completely, but I do understand something, I don't know what's really going on, because surprisingly at this moment the garbage dumps were working fine, and some police stations, but a few others weren't, and in the case of clinics and fire stations they are at zero, the cemetery also has vehicles available, I honestly don't know what the problem would be and if some mod that I deactivated is responsible, although if it was a mod that I deactivated, I imagine that clinics and fire stations should be working fine.
During the game that I've been watching while I write this, I also noticed that there don't seem to be any vehicles in the fire stations, however, they do respond to fires successfully. In those terms I wouldn't mind if the building says it has no vehicles, but that the work is done. The main problem arose when, during a game, the work was not being done, and there were no vehicles available either, I put two, three, five garbage dumps, far, near, and no vehicle appeared. Anyway, I can't say what's going on, but thanks for your support.
P.S. At the time of the captures the taxes destined for services
were at 150%, in addition the "Path unit limit" was at 4% and "Active vehicles" was at 14% with a population of approximately 15,000.

Ok, so we've ruled out that you're hitting the game limits.

Can you share the screenshots you took? You can do that by uploding them to your Steam profile. Or by posting them on a site like www.imgur.com

After doing that, simply copy/paste the URL into a comment section here.

In this test city, I tried to put everything close together so there would be no range issues.
I just started a normal game to see how it goes.

My bad. I meant pictures of the service buildings that do not spawn vehicles.

You wontt hit any of the game limits early in the game.
Were you able to solve it?
