workshop not working

for some reason when i subscribe to workshop addons they dont get added to the game any one know why?

Are you opted into the Beta version of the game? That is required for Workshop mods to work.

this is embarrasing but io didnt notice the big ol gear button on the bottom left of the screen. tunnel vision will do that to a man
