This is a re-post after my friends said, "wrong category".
When did an "escape room" use anything but what was in the room? I'm not sure either. It's like the boxes you need to open and all the clues are on the box. Say you are 15 years old. No clue what happened in the 1300's, but this "escape room" needed you to know the info. Oh, wait... the room didn't tell you the info? Dead.... google/bing help.... so why not look up a walkthrough because you couldn't finish the level?

Trying to find some amazing rooms people have uploaded, but I have to go page by page. Sudoku for some reason is very popular, but the "puzzle", not "escape" simulator, seems to be really popular.

I love Sudoku, but this is just a waste of time if you want to enjoy Sudoku. I finished 13 medium, and 19 hard Sudoku. Extreme is really hard. Usually gives me 9 numbers to start with. I didn't even finish the Sudoku "escape" map. It was 1.1 or something. Did that many Sudoku in the same time trying to understand this bull.

I Digress,
can we add a section where it's a specific game style. If its not an escape simulator game. Why is it a category? Can I just make a game around Pi and never have an ending. Maybe it's a chess game. Maybe it's an adventure.... escape. The devs made great rooms, but most of the upload isn't very good in the logic side of "escape".

Unless you think this should be a "Saw" based game where you have to do stupid bull and at the end it's like. My intelligence was much higher than yours. Did you know the longest and hardest Crossword puzzle was published in 2017? Can anyone find the solution to who killed Kennedy? Oh, wait... what did that have to do with "Escape Room"? No clue but if you don't have that knowledge you can't win.

That's why I'm asking to update workshop. If it's Puzzle, Adventure, Historical, Art, etc. Whatever the ♥♥♥♥ it is and you can't figure out the solution from the map. Then it's considered something besides "escape simulator". Can I get "escape room" as a category? Everything should be given to you from the start. Tutorial for - (insert ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) then it's not an escape room.

PS. if you needed a walkthrough to finish any of the base game levels.... don't make a level. All the clues are given to you. I looked up walkthrough to find all tokens, but after a little while. Noticed, "OPEN YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EYES".
