These mods also provide:
- zooming out (not in the campaign mode unfortunately) which really helps
- adjusting the stats of armour, health etc for various classifications of units
- the means to increase the population cap for armies (I've had to limit my skirmishes to 5 AI players total, and max 200 unit pop cap or the game lags)
I'd confidently say that if you use both these mods together, you won't be able to go back to playing without them.
I like to play as US so I wish he would implement some of the changes in my Symmetric Balance Mod or Mini Balance mod. I made the US upgrades so that they weren't mutually exclusive which makes late game US much better. I also made the Scott work as light artillery.
