Question about workshop

I'm new to the payday 2 PC scene. Will using the workshop items get me a cheaters tag?

You can't really use the workshop items anyway, you can only vote for them to be added. However since this game is done and over, its extremely unlikely any new skins will be added.
You can find some custom weapon skin mods on https://www.modworkshop.net that you could download and use, they will not tag you as cheater.
