Can I edit maps I've published

Can I edit maps I've published without un-publishing them and publishing the edited version?

Yes. Edit them, then publish them again. You can do that as often as needed.

And doing it that way allows you to keep all of your comments, discussions and votes.

Just don't rename your maps on your PC or the Portal 2 workshop from what you originally published them as, and you'll be fine.

The only time you want to unpublish them, is if there's a reason you don't want the public to see them ever again or you were online testing and don't need it online anymore.
