[Mod Request] District size mod
arguments for or against districts aside i'd like a mod to increase the max size of districts to support the whole 256x256 map size (cardinal straight paths anyway). i saw there was a legacy mod on thundrestore over 3 years out of date. is someone could recreate it for update 6 and the workshop, that'd be great.

districts don't have a max size but are dependent on paths. You can make a district as large as you want, it's just as a district becomes too large, it becomes highly inefficient.

i thought there was like a 64 tile district path length limit or something?

There was a limit back in either update 3 or 4, but it was removed as many people didn't like it. I know update 5 and 6 are unlimited district sizes, it's just not recommended to let your districts grow too large because beaver travel time can kill productivity.

oh. nice. main concern wasn't productivity so much as "i need to do this one thing super far from district centre that i will never touch again"
