[RESOLVED] Autumn Update broke ALL my mods [RESOLVED]
As the title states, I have recently installed this again after the autumn update in September. I unsubbed from ALL mods that have not bee updated since that update dropped. All of my current mods are from sep 24-nov 9 so they should be working.

I created a new game yesterday, loaded it completely vanilla no issues. But when I try to load any mods it CTD's immediately with various error codes. It is EVERY mod that does this, even the one that was updated yesterday. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling TF2, resubbing to the mods, and verifying the game integrity. Nothing works. I am at my wits end, I love this game, but there are QOL mods I refuse to play without.

PC specs, Mod list and error dumps available upon request.

I play maps with hundreds of mods without issue.

If you are having this issue with any mods, try uploading a map with a few of them, so we can see if we can reproduce this on our end.

If you have CommonAPI2, my understanding is that mod is broken after the last update, so you should deactivate it if you have it installed.

1: I have no idea why I'm suddenly having problems, I ran saves with tons of mods before the recent update with zero issues, this didn't happen until the update. (I stopped playing for over a year until yesterday)

2: Please re-read my post.. I CANNOT upload a map with mods because it flat out refuses to load any mods. I can load the Vanilla Mods (dev mods) no issues, but any and all workshop mods CTD as soon as I click load. I can't save what I can't even load into. >_<

Hi, it looks like one of the the res .zip files is corrupt:

I know you've said you already verified game files and even reinstalled, but I'd try it again. If it still fails, even with vanilla unmodded maps with only 1 mod attempting to load, then submit a support request https://www.transportfever2.com/support/help-desk/ (blue button bottom right).

I know you've said you already verified game files and even reinstalled, but I'd try it again. If it still fails, even with vanilla unmodded maps with only 1 mod attempting to load, then submit a support request https://www.transportfever2.com/support/help-desk/ (blue button bottom right).

Yeah I decided to completely uninstall, clear the registry, reboot PC completely, then I reinstalled to my C drive this time instead of my D drive, it finally works. I was able to load mods.

Hey that's great news! The drive itself shouldn't really make a difference, unless it was low on space at some point, or maybe the drive is having a hardware issue 😬 but hopefully not! Hopefully it was just a file got corrupted somehow during download or an update.

Yeah, it's definitely not the drive, it's a brand new SSD with barely a year on it, it's my primary data storage for games and such, I try to keep my OS disk as empty as possible. I have had a few games over the years that were quirky and ran weird on my D drive, but not on my C drive. No idea why, lol.

I'm just glad I can play with mods again.
