It always amazes me when people post requests without pictures or references.

It's like they think people should instantly know what they are talking about.

perhaps we should make a stickied thread with a format for requests, including a slot for 'paid/unpaid'. then we just need people to start looking at stickied threads.

Xenoblade sold well in Japan, and moderately in the West, but it is not anywhere near the "Well known" stage. It is not a household name.

I know of it, sure, but even so, if I made a request for say, "That sword from Prince of Persia, the Eagle swords"

I'd include pictures / references. You should always. You're already asking them to make a sword for you, hours upon hours of work, and can't even be bothered to post a picture to get them going?
