i just thought of this out of nowhere and decided to come here to post about it. i just got the idea from listening to the music. I'm thinking they would function maybe like a Royalty situation where you swap out each character for specific moves or have both of them on the field at the same time but if either takes damage they both take damage.

workshop name ideas:
Unbeatable Duo
Tag Team Terror
The Plumbers

in-game name ideas:
Red and Green
Mr. M & L
Bros
Plumbers

Actually getting the brothers around:
- Swap out like Royalty and have different moves
OR
- Both bros out at once, taking equal damage on the healthbar
- Separate DI wheels for the red man and green fella, kinda like HAG but not arms just people

Move ideas:
- Jump and hammer attacks for normals
- Punches, kicks, and normal fist to fist normals as well
- Bros. moves as specials of course like a green shell, snack basket or jump helmet as specials, but only select moves to fit the 2D stuff of YOMI
- Giant Luigi, Falling Star or Slingsniper as supers
- Advance versions of moves, maybe a powered up version with a temporary buff or something
- Blocking as deflecting with a hammer or just a normal block

Silly/Unserious ideas:
- Win animation as them on the stages and the winning song
- Intro as the classic one, y'know the "Lets a go!" "Oki doki!"
