[REQUEST] Less Token RNG please.
I come to you as a poor DD1 pleb who has had absolutely enough of the ridiculous levels of RNG tied to tokens in DD2.

I don't mind RNG based tokens like blind or dodge that have set percentages attached to them, what I meant by "Token RNG" has more to do with how getting said tokens is tied to RNG. Like seriously, what is with all the ♥♥♥♥ on stuff like Jester's upgraded battle ballad having only 15% chance to give a crit token while those stupid cosmic horrors gain block, strength, AND crit tokens all on a single ability.

Wasn't removing/reducing RNG the whole point of the Token system??

There's also those stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ inn items that have "X chance to gain Y token for Z duration", absolutely god awful balancing. If the buff was guaranteed but gaining the tokens off the buff was based off of RNG then it would be acceptable but the fact that you have to get a good RNG roll to even get the buff ON TOP of having to RNG roll for the tokens applying is hilarious. Just shove a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gun up my ass instead thanks.

I just don't understand the appeal of this sort of system. In DD1 it made sense because you could actually influence the RNG via buffs or debuffs and the percentages didn't feel anemic but in DD2 it just feels bad. I've lost count of how many failed 66% chance to apply combo token rolls have happened, I've gotten into some stupid shenanigans too where I fail that same roll 4 times in a row and it has honestly happened so often that I'm just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of it as a whole which is exactly why I'm here.

TLDR; Can someone make a mod that removes all token application RNG? Like, if something says "X chance to apply Y thing" just apply it. I couldn't care less about the inn items personally so I'd be fine if only player characters and enemies were affected. It'd be ideal if the enemies benefited from the mod too so that some semblance of strategy can actually happen in DD2 and so that the mod doesn't just allow players to steam roll through everything. Right now, playing DD2 feels like I'm playing Russian Roulette with a Glock.
