An engine mod is stopping me installing engine upgrades after purchase.
As title says. I do have a few engine mods, most fixes/redseigns and not many affecting the player ship, if any so I was wondering which mod it could be, all I know about the mod is that it gave me the "smooth engine" upgrade available for purchase, if anyone also has this please can you tell me what the mod is called so I can remove it and possibly fix my issue.

I also have a mk5 on start mod that lets me buy all mk upgrades from the get go, will this also stop mk4 and 5 engines from installing even though I purchased them? Any engine I had previously is also removed and when I buy another engine, despite its tier I'm still stuck with no engine.

Also a side question: How do I get into the script console like in previous X games? I have 2 script library mods installed and no idea how to get to them in or out of game.

There's a reference to the problem that you're describing in the mod thread of Gaian Star. I don't have that mod installed, though, so can't say for sure.

Thanks for letting me know the mod, shame it's all in russian, at least I know which mod to remove now, thanks :)

Not sure about that, though. Only reference I found was a comment in the mod's thread, and no mention is made to a "smooth engine" in the mod description.

Found the comment about the smooth engine, near bottom of the first page of comments :P
Someone else is also having the same problem as me.
