Create mod for mercenaries and levies recruitment
I would like to create a couple of mods but I have no clue where to start with, nor I even know whether it is possible to change those mechanics.

- Firstly, I would to make a mod which allows the recruitment of provincial mercenaries as faction mercenaries once you conquer a settlement where they are present. For example, playing as Massaeisly, your faction mercenaries are Numidian Cavalry and Javelinmen. If you conquered Gadir, that could allow the recruitment of the Iberian units in your mercenary roster.

I guess it is kinda complicated if not impossible to do so, so my second option would be to simply add some units to different factions´mercenary roster. In addition to this, units such as Mercenary noble fighters and mercenary noble cavalry, I would like to make them available for provincial recruitment as well, since only Carhage has access to them.

I also wonder whether it is possible to create new mercenary units, being merely the same vanilla unit version just as a mercenary. For instance, I would like to create Mercenary Agema Spears amongst many others.

- For the second mod, I would like to expand Nordo´s better client states levies mod. I think it would be kinda cool being able to recruit levies from your allies too, with a mechanic such as only being available if relationships are over 100.

Could you give me some tips, and tell me whether these changes are possible?

Thanks in advance.

I mean, the game already has those features, just not for every faction. You can recruit AoR units with the auxiliary barracks chain - it's just reserved for factions with a history of mercenaries/auxiliaries like carthage and rome.
